Christmas Morning

The boys in their Christmas pj's. The looks on their faces pretty tell how Christmas morning went.... Treyden with huge smiles, thrilled about everything, and Chase, somewhat confused, and mostly still asleep.

The castle set was a huge hit with both boys.

Chase's gifts from Santa.

Treyden's gifts from Santa.

Treyden's "Cars" cake...... Yeah, so cake decorating is NOT one of my many talents..... Sad that we only got this one picture before the camera battery died.

My boys Treyden and Chase, and their cute cousins, Jaida, Brynnley, and Kira.

Treyden and his Transformers cake..... Does he look happy or what?

Treydens Birthday

Treyden really wanted a Transformer for his birthday, so he was thrilled with his awesome new "Bumblebee".

Scary

This evening we went up to my sister Erin's house to watch "Horton Hears A Who" and spend some time with her family. On the way we had to stop at the grocery store. I had strapped the boys in their car seats, and I told Treyden "I am returning the cart, I will be right back". The cart return was just across the row from where the car was parked, but I did have to turn my back. When I got back to the car, Treyden was not there. I unstrapped Chase and started screaming Treyden's name. I ran to the front of the store and asked the Salvation Army bell ringer if she had seen a little boy with blonde hair and blue eyes wearing a green shirt.... She said "is he about 4? He just ran in the store." I went to the customer service desk and told them I had lost my son in the store and gave his description. They told me to stay there and they would send people to look for him. As they were about to go look, the pharmisist came to the front holding Treyden's hand.... He was yelling "mommy". The pharmisit said that he had come right up to the desk and asked her if she had seen his mommy, to which she asked him what his mommys name is, and he said "mommy". Luckily I found him, unharmed. Never again will I turn my back on that kid for a second. His door has the child lock on, so he had climbed up into the front seat, opened the door, and ran. There were so many other places he could have gone than in the grocery store, which is at the end of a strip mall. McDonalds is across the parking lot, as is Pizza Hut and Wingers. He could have been just about anywhere. I feel so blessed.
